Paradise at Canyon Lake

Prefect stay

Pros: Everything was perfect. It was roomy, clean and great view.

Old school feel but all in all good enough.

Pros: Location was great. Central to all the things we had planned. Great recommendations on food and sights to see. Air conditioner worked great.

Cons: Some of the lights didn't work properly in the kitchen. The kitchen sink faucet is missing the end cap so hard to control pressure. Front left burner on stove doesn't heat properly. There was a drawer on the island that wasn't seated correctly in it runners. One of the bathroom doors has a bad lower hinge so takes getting used to.

Pros: The space is located on the second floor and features an overhanging patio with a beautiful view of the tree canopy at Canyon Lake. The rooms are cozy and stayed comfortably warm during our visit, even in very cold weather. All the amenities listed were thoughtfully provided. From the ground deck, you can catch a partial view of the lake. The area is well-equipped with a gas grill, ample seating, and a fire pit, making it a great spot to relax. The lighting, both indoors and outdoors, has been carefully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. What we loved the most was the lower deck—a perfect place to enjoy a chilled beer and some barbecue. The hosts, Ross and Karen, are incredibly knowledgeable about the area and genuinely interested in ensuring a great stay.

Cons: the keyless entry was a bit challenging initially.

Pros: It’s a very lovely quiet place- a perfect getaway for a family vacation. It has all the necessary amenities and a picturesque view from the terrace- ideal for a slow morning coffee.

Beautiful area

Pros: The property was amazing. Plenty of room. Nice areas outside on the deck. Host gave us so much information on the area. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The whole area is so beautiful and it’s so eclectic! Truly a unique stay and it right by the lake to take a swim. The beauty of this area is absolutely amazing. This property offers so much to grilling on the patio, and just enjoying the sun to enjoying the wonderful atmosphere oh the living room. I definitely will be coming here again!

Cons: Honestly everything was perfect and more, this is definitely a great place to stay with family or just a partner, it’s a wonderful space!

Pros: Very clean and felt like home, wonderful location. Will definitely be staying here again.

Cons: Only thing I wish they had was a washer and dryer.

Great stay in hill country

Pros: Very clean and comfortable stay. We had all the amenities we needed. Ross was a great host and provided lots of information on the property and the area.

Cons: A/C was not on when we arrived but cooled down after about an hour. Then it was perfectly cool.
