Fredericksburg Retreat with Private Hot Tub and Patio!

Excellent, I’d visit again

Pros: Better than what the pictures show, super comfortable, it was cold outside and the house was warm when we got there. We had wood for the fire pit and anything we needed was provided.

Relaxing stay, nice hot tub

Pros: Nice location with view. Few miles from Fredericksburg center and nature atmosphere.

Cons: Overwhelming number of peacocks as could be expected at Peacock Hill. They look amazing but unfortunately do not only eat but drop regularly which can be treacherous after dark.

Best getaway in the hidden hills

Pros: The property was amazing, we loved the animals and the owners were so nice and friendly…they even let my 4 year old help feed the chickens/ducks/peacocks/doves. The ponies were just the cutest and the big white dogs that hung around outside the gates were just the sweetest souls ever!

Cons: The only thing disappointing thing was that we couldn’t snuggle with the sweet sweet gentle giants (white dogs) at night time ;)

Great stay !!

Pros: The location was great, and the scenery was too. If you have small kids coming along, this is the place to be at being there is many animals in the property to view.

Cons: I could hear the people moving around on the top floor. I could also hear them talking when I was in the living room area, being that the owner lives on the top floor. Keep in mind that the owner didn't bother us at all during our stay. I just want to make it clear. Everything else was awesome!!

We'd be happy to stay here again anytime we're in the Fredericksburg area. Super friendly hosts.

Pros: Nice place with lots of cool animals around. The hosts were really nice and were fun to talk to. Hot tub was great and the outside sitting area was really fun. In short, we'd come back again.

Cons: It was a pretty fun experience all-around. It was a bit noisy around 9 or 10 in the evening. It sounded like they were having dog races upstairs for a bit. Not overly annoying but it caught our attention. Anyway, their dogs were really nice and it was fun petting them.

Birthday getaway for my son and the family.

Pros: Peacocks and animals on site were nice, great views, nice and comfortable accommodations - overall a great getaway.

Pros: This was a beautiful property and was a lovely place to stay a couple of nights. Peaceful yet very close to everything. The hot tub, the view, the coffee machine and all the animals were a huge bonus for us.

Pros: The outdoor area was amazing! The house was thoughtfully stocked and very spacious and comfortable! We could not have asked for a better romantic getaway!

My daughter and I LOVED our stay. But you can hear conversations from upstairs.

Pros: The location was great!! But, we could hear conversations from upstairs pretty clearly and we could hear them snoring. We really enjoyed our stay despite the snoring.

Cons: Hearing the snoring from upstairs and conversations through the day.

Pros: I loved how spacious the actual property is. Also loved how it’s secluded yet still close to town. It was perfectly located and had great amenities.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. It was furnished perfectly!
