I was so pleased on how helpful host were with kayaks and questions! We loved our stay!

Pros: Loved how accommodating host was with kayaks! So nice and helpful!

Cons: The AC was a bit hard to locate to adjust, evening was a bit warmer. Minor issue.

The converted barn is a nice place to visit for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway.

Pros: Fresh produce and local sausage were in the fridge and a coffee cake on the counter for us to enjoy. The area is quiet. Used the grill to cook a couple of steaks and it worked great.

Pros: The amenities are great. Very thoughtful placement of items one might need. Love the faux fireplace/heating system.

Cons: The pebbles by entrance are big, hard on tiny dog paws.

Pros: Our stay was wonderful! Great location! Great little barn! Well-stocked with food! Clean! Quiet! Adorable! Filled with beautiful antiques! Loved it! Could have stayed indefinitely.

Cons: Driveway was a bit of a challenge, but, of course, it is the hill country.

We loved our stay at the Red Barn!

Pros: We enjoying sitting on the generous deck watching the sunrise in the mornings and feeling the cool breezes in the evenings , viewing the deer and hummingbirds, and taking in the gorgeous view of the hill country. The place itself was so fun and creative with cabinetry made from old palettes and tin, interesting antique memorabilia everywhere and well stocked with food and drinks. Everything was in good working order and clean, comfortable bed, great shower and breakfast nook. We cooked all our meals using the well appointed kitchen and outdoor grill/oven. David and Martha were amazing hosts and very responsive. We hope to come back!

Cons: Simply perfect, wish we could come more often.

Beautiful/warm home.

Pros: David and Martha were nice. We enjoyed our stay. A lot of detailed work went into building the “Red Barn” to make it cozy and comfortable. Very clean. We had everything we needed. The pantry and fridge were stocked with delicious food. Thank you David and Martha♥️
