Cozy San Antonio Family Home 3 Mi to Lackland AFB

Great for bmt graduation! Super close to base.

Pros: Cute little house that perfectly fit my family of 6. Had all the amenity’s that we needed for our 4 night stay. Very nice back yard with a porch swing and a bbq grill. The neighbors were very nice and the neighborhood was quiet. The washer and dryer was a great addition and came in handy. Plenty of pots pans and dishes. The house was exceptionally clean and we left it the way we found it. Would definitely recommend!

Cons: The garage where the washer and dryer was kept smelled a little funky, but not to bad.

Pros: If I get a chance to be back again, I would. Excellent services. Very clean and organized. The neighbors were very friendly too.

Pros: The backyard of the house is adorable, just make sure you have bug spray. The beds and linens are comfortable and clean. It was the perfect stay for the 6 of us. It was the perfect distance to the AFB where my son was graduating BMT, and it was easy to get to the touristy destinations. They provide coffee and some non-dairy creamers. The refrigerator is full size so you can fill up at the Walmart that is just a few miles away. The house is clean and the linens are comfortable. We had a problem finding enough for all of us, but that was on us as we did not see the linen cabinet behind one of the doors :0. The renter was very responsive to all our inquiries and we did not have to wait for answers. She is a very nice and helpful person.

Cons: You must love dogs lol :) there are dogs on both sides and they are friendly, and the neighborhood has a ton of them that bark at all hours but you really can’t hear them in the house. We are guessing there is maybe a dog shelter near by. The neighborhood has a high Hispanic population and it feels a little overcrowded. But we NEVER felt uncomfortable or not safe. Also the kitchen is not well stocked for cooking, so if you plan to do your own cooking bring some pots, pans or baking sheets. There are some, but not enough to cook for 6.

Our stay was perfect.

Pros: Beds were very comfortable. House was spacious. Everything we needed was there, from Britain’s water dispenser, to all toiletries and everything needed in the kitchen. This was our first Airbnb rental and we’re now hooked.

Pros: The house was a perfect fit for our stay. The tiled floor was nice and cool on the hot San Antonio days. The location was great- an easy drive from Lackland AFB. There were enough beds for everyone in the family. The decorations were simple yet welcoming and lovely. I would highly recommend this house to families coming to town for BMT graduation.

Cons: The location was perfect for graduation exercises, but it was a bit far from the downtown tourist attractions. It was about a 30 minute drive to the River Walk or a $15 Uber ride.
