Austin visit

Pros: It was mediocre. I've stayed at numerous Laquinta and I guess the other one just set my standards much higher. This one was just ok. It was not a bad it just wasn't as nice as the one's I've stayed at before.

Cons: I did not like that I requested a bottom floor when I booked the room and it had never been an issue before. When I checked in I told the gentleman he said they were booked and they couldn't accommodate me for a bottom floor. Ok well I requested it when I booked it and my husband is handicapped and that is why I requested it in the first place. Next Time we are in Austin I can guarantee we will not book at this Laquinta for this reason. I also was not allowed to get my points for my rewards through Laquinta because I booked through Booking.com so I will not be Booking through booking.com again for that reason because I missed out on my rewards for this stay.

Cons: Pool was not heated, super cold , was not enjoyable. Bathroom shower need some more cleaning. Sliding doors for the shower would not stay shut while showering.

Pros: Newer facility Very comfortable beds Super friendly staff

Cons: The room was dusty & musty smelling. Had to ask housekeeping to bring air freshener spray. The hallwall needs vacuuming and deep cleaning. The floors & hallway were dirty thru out the common areas. You could tell the hall carpet had not been vacuumed in awhile
