A perfect weekend

Pros: The decor and comfort of the facilities. The friendliness of the staff and how quickly they answered my questions and resolved issues.

Cons: That I had to go get breakfast at a café in town and the lack of prior information. I had to ask many times.

Pros: Very peace and quiet with fun little walks and spaces ro chill and hang. Sauna pool combo is great!

Cons: The breakfast in town was a little weird but that’s ok

Good comfortable stay , relaxed vibes.

Pros: View amazing , pool and cabana very relaxing .bed so comfortable , friendly staff.

Cons: Staff not available for the stay , so no bar available in the evening . Was looking to do the cocktail mixology on Saturday evening , stated did not need to book as hotel guest on the website , however when checked in said wasn’t available as they had not booked someone to do the bar mixology. Breakfast not available on a Monday , offered. Voucher for pastry and coffee in town had to go back on ourselves as was travelling the opposite way .

The best short stay in the the Austin/San Antonio area

Pros: Amazing place to stay for a night outside of the city. The pool area and views are some of the best you will find.

Pros: The hotel was very modern and tastefully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views were beautiful and the firepit was nice to sit by at night. Easy access to Wimberley via car and well located to explore the hill country.

Pros: The view by the pool at sunset was beautiful. The pools water temperature was also perfect.

The Bygone was the perfect option for experiencing all that Wimberley has to offer

Pros: But even though it was only six minutes out of town, we felt like we were away from the hustle and bustle. Also, the bedding was divine!

Cons: We had a double room, and both of us were aware of a indention in the mattresses where people probably commonly sit. It was more comfortable to scoot to the middle or away from that area to sleep. Perhaps putting a chair in the room may help?

Pros: Very nice remodel of a vintage motel. Great vignettes all around the property.

Cons: Shower floor is dangerously slippery. Also need better information for using the TV.

Pros: Verwarmd zwembad - fantastisch uitzicht -mooie kamer

Cons: Matras te zacht en hoofdkussens te dik-haardroger oud en oververhit- ontbijt zou incl zijn maar bleek dat we een voucher kregen voor 1 koffie en 1 koek in een ontbijtketen op 5km

We will definitely come back and will stay longer.

Pros: All the amenities were amazing, we took advantage of some of them and even tested the trails. The staff was supper friendly and helpful.

Cons: The balcony door wasn't locking, the staff helped us and took care of it. No breakfast and couldn't make it to the coffee place but we appreciate the gesture. 😊
