Blue Skies Retro Resort Pool-Fireplace

Wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back!!!!

Pros: Great location to explore the Hill Country. Beautiful setting. It was really adorable. They left a lovely gift b package with a bunch of goodies. The bathroom suite was lovely. The outdoor shower was a nice touch!!!

Cons: I wish the camper was better stocked with utensils and nicer wine glasses. As lovely as the outdoor shower was, it just needs an updated shower head.

Overall, it was a great experience and the sunrise and sunset was beautiful. Definitely recommend if you are looking for

Pros: Clean in the camper. It could use a few light blankets to add to the bedding when it is cool weather. The bathroom was very spacious and had all that you would need. Really liked having combination codes versus keeping up with physical keys. The owner was in contact and available throughout our stay if needed.

Cons: The water was lukewarm, and the spray nozzle really needs replacing as the water just comes out in a fine mist and when it is cool outside, it makes it even colder trying to take a shower. Also, for each of the campers, it would be really helpful if the name could be on the rock when you come in late at night upon arrival and do not know which one is your camper until you walk up to the door.

Travel back in time! Worth every penny from sunrise to sunset!

Pros: I loved the vibe! A mid century mod design complete with a record player! The private dressing room/shower area made you feel like a star! Spacious with an outdoor shower was true glamping! You will get the best sunset AND sunrise view

Cons: No complaints only suggestions- a few family games like Corn hole, connect 4, or even retro games would be a cute added touch. And a reminder to bring fire wood.

Pros: Very cute and cozy! It’s perfect for a weekend getaway to unwind and relax. Also, our camper and bathroom was very clean and came equipped with everything!

Unique experience. Plan for warm weather

Pros: We enjoyed our stay here, definitely a unique place. Unfortunately the weather was not participating, it was way too cold to experience all the amenities like the pool or the fireplace. But we can confirm that the WiFi is strong, the heating works great and there are enough streaming services on the TV. Everything was super clean too.

Overall, the stay was great! Something different from the normal hotel room, which made it fun!

Pros: We liked the ambiance of the property. Very secluded, but not far from the life of Fredericksburg. The facilities were very clean and comforting. Would stay again. :)

Cons: One thing that could've been better was maybe a walkway or path from trailer to central area. Some kind of patio light would be nice to hang out outside of trailer. The shower head in the restroom would be better if it was bigger. We showered in cold air and had to really keep moving because of the small stream of water coming out of the shower.

Kitschy & very Cool

Pros: This place has a very kitschy & cool vibe. Great price through booking.com. I would absolutely stay here again. Don’t stay at the same old, same old! Stay at Blue Skies and go hike Enchanted Rock nearby. Shop in Fredericksburg. Both are close by. Great place for a couple!

Cons: Need a new grill. One burner is out, the other clogged. Hotter water for the outside showers too. But those are really minor things. Its cool factor outweighs all of that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Skies Retro Resort! We will definitely be back and will be recommending this

Pros: The property is well maintained and just a beautiful and cute site. I love the ambiance and set up. The airstreams are comfortable and have all you need. The private bathroom’s are great and really close out the experience to make your stay quite lavish.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. The property owner and management company are all so responsive and accessible.
