Dean's Den: Private Deck w/ Jacuzzi and a View

A perfect cozy get away in nature with easy access to restaurants and low key night life.

Pros: We love that we were able to book a remote-feeling get away with nice comfortable amenities, including a wonderful, clean, hot tub, for a reasonable price. We were finding comparable listings in places like Fredericksburg for twice the cost. We thought this would be a sacrifice in location, but we fell in love with New Braunfels and Gruene, and are excited to come back and bring our kids. We never saw the host, but they left a lovely welcome note and made sure they were available for any problems. There were no problems. Maybe it was their detailed checked in information or the wonderful property but it was a seamless two nights. The dark skies at night were great and getting to see some small wildlife like a fluffy cottontail bunny was a fun bonus. The WiFi was reliable which was nice in case of a work emergency. Not having a TV was also appreciated!

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like! We loved the natural lighting but would recommend people bring a sleep masks if an afternoon nap is on the agenda. Bringing your own pillows might be good as my partner thought they were too flat.

We came here to celebrate our 20th anniversary and it was perfect. We were able to spend time reconnecting, relaxing, a

Pros: The location, the cleanliness, the quiet and the communication were all excellent.

Nice peaceful stay in a small A-frame in the woods.

Pros: Isolated in the woods, just like we wanted. Cute little place nicely designed and decorated. Jacuzzi was nice. Had everything we needed. Great attention to detail.

Cons: The sofa needs replacing. You fall into it and it’s very uncomfortable. The shower head needs to have much stronger flow like the sinks do. A few jets in the jacuzzi weren’t working.

Most perfect spot for relaxing!

Pros: Dean's Den was comfortable, quiet, and private. We enjoyed our entire stay. The sun was out in February and made the hot tub even better. We'd like to stay in the Summer and try enjoy being in the tree tops.

Cons: I'd be hard pressed to find anything I did not like.

Pros: The room was beautiful and was more than we expected. we really appreciated the complimentary wine! This was our first vacation together and we really appreciate every thing this property had to offer.

Cons: While we had no use for a television during our stay, we did notice that there wasnt one available. I would recommend this, or a projector to project against the slanted wall. :) thank you guys so much!!

Pros: Bought this as a getaway for my parents! It was a great time, nice and relaxing for them both. Their favorite part was probably the jacuzzi!

Great place, will definitely be back. :)

Pros: Great cabin. We enjoyed the seclusion, but also close enough to town and things to do. The spa was amazing. Our awesome hosts also left us a bottle of wine. Thank you for an awesome stay.

Cons: Only suggestion would be a stool or bench in the shower. But that didn't bring down the stay at all.
