Cosy little lodge

Pros: King size bed is massive and the pillows are like clouds! Great that the room has a fridge and also lots of coffee and hot chocolate. Great amenities in the bathroom including ear plugs! Location is superb, a short 5 min walk into the town area.

Pros: This is a super cute place. Staff are wonderful. Pool is great. Our room was upstairs and had everything we needed. We were only booked for 1 night but decided to stay 3 & just do a day trip to San Antonio instead. We were so pleased we decided that as we loved our time in Gruene & at the cottages. We walked down to the centre which is an easy 10 min walk. Once you cross the road there's a short path then a walkway the rest of the way.

Our stay at Gruene Cottages was like staying at a home away from home.

Pros: Beyond meeting all of our needs, we loved the atmosphere and the attention to detail throughout the space. My wife thoroughly appreciated the cleanliness. As the husband, I appreciated the straight forward management of them place. No nonsense, no drama, no surprises. The quality, cleanliness, and simplicity helped me to be in a relaxed state the moment I walked in our room

Cons: My wife said the only thing she didn't like was having to leave.

Loved everything, was comfortable and pleasant, I will definitely come back next time!

Pros: Perfect location and service. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff did a great job.

Cons: Only thing that could have been better I think was the outdated Television.

Pros: Nice place. Very quiet. Says walking distance to Gruene, but not at night with incomplete sidewalks and no lighting.

Cons: Rooms were upstairs and we're getting older..... Downstairs rooms a bit pricey for one couple.

Pros: Place was beautiful and spotless and on site staff very friendly absolutely loved everything

Pros: Loved everything about this place. Quiet, comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. We even got a text after we left about us leaving behind a shirt that they offered to ship to us, which at most places would've just been a loss.

Cons: That we only booked one night.
