Perfect Country-Side Get-Away

We'd come back.

Pros: We were in the area for the annular eclipse (fantastic!) and wanted a cabin afterward. Great place! Nice grounds to stroll, the free-roaming horse was unique, and the cat jumped up in our lap for stargazing on the patio / outdoor table — nice and dark there. You have all the amenities you need, including a full kitchen. Super-nice hosts!

Cons: It’s kind of a Great Room layout with no bedroom door.

Pros: Wir lieben die Ruhe, die Abgeschiedenheit und die naturbelassene Umgebung. Trotzdem ist man in 10 Minuten mitten in Boerne.

Pros: Wir lieben die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Diese naturbelassene Umgebung. Mein Highlight ist das freilaufende Pferd. Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal dort und werden die letzten Tage unseres Urlaubs vor der Rückreise wieder dort verbringen.

Loved how peaceful it was and the fact that it remote but not far very far to get to town.

Pros: The location was perfect. It was quiet and remote with being too far from anything we wanted to do. It was clean and everything was in working order. Easy access.

Cons: We were not sure what to do with the trash when we cleaned up. Towels and wash rags smelled a little mildewed.

Peaceful and relaxing. The best get away I have rented.

Pros: The house was very clean and relaxing. Loved the peacefulness and appreciate the owners sharing their lively hires and their wonderful two cats, Mister and Zarro.

Cons: There was nothing to not like. Loved everything. Would come back.

Can't Wait to go stay again.

Pros: So peaceful. We will certainly stay again. We able to stay in and cook or go out to town for a meal. Plenty of room. Comfy bed. Got to see wild turkey, deer. jack rabbits and a sweet kitty

Safe and cozy

Pros: We loved the location. Not too far from San Antonio, but a comfortable distance from the city that we felt safe. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, but did not intrude at all with our stay. There are cats, chickens, and a free roaming horse on the property. as well as plenty of deer in the area. The guest house is cute and cozy, situated away from the main house. We loved having a full kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every day. The price was very reasonable. Overall, we would definitely look at staying here again on our next visit.

Cons: The only things we had complaint about are more personal preference, as we really should have a king-sized bed because of needing the extra length. We also do not prefer leather sofas, again more of a personal choice rather than a quality of the property.

Tranquility in the Hill Country

Pros: Squeaky clean, coffee provided, beautiful setting, tranquil and private. The horse came to greet me while out grazing. A lovely respite from the big city where I live.

I would like to stay there again

Pros: Cooked our own in the fully stocked kitchen Location was very quiet and secluded, which made it very nice

Cons: The area was extremely dry and a rain would’ve been very nice There were some very nice looking deer there, but I don’t think they allowed hunting

Great get away as stated

Pros: There was no breakfast included. We went to a local market and got our own food to prepare.

Cons: I can't think of anything except for some of the surrounding area Dead trees and shrubs) could be cleaned up.
