Loved every minute here. Highly recommend

Pros: Loved the overall charm and the attention to detail of design and decor. Feels like your stepping back in time. We loved the location, very private with no close neighbours, looking over a cow paddock while enjoy sunset on the porch swing - delightful. Yet still only a small walk to town. Great comms, highly recommend

Cons: Beds lacking comfort but I guess that’s how they slept back in the day? It’s the only thing not making this place a 10/10.

Dream cabin

Pros: I always wondered about staying in an old log cabin. Kind a dream come through. For my wife who is used to hotels, she was astonished. I will be back better prepared with stuff to cook, stay longer, and enjoy it more.

Cons: The water heater. We’d to be larger, to enjoy the hot tub.

Pros: The whole setup was great. The beds were very comfy. I loved the old stove and fridge. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. Wish we had had more time to spend at the cabin. Thank you! We really enjoyed our stay!

Pros: The cabin was fantastic, perfectly rustic and cozy. I can't. wait for another chance to stay there

Cons: There was a large pile of brush obstructing the natural view in the front yard. This was probably due to storms in the area earlier, but enough time to have it cleaned up

A charming, quiet, cozy place to relax in peace with a great view!

Pros: Loved the coziness and cleanliness of the cabin and the view was lovely! It was quiet, good for star gazing and watching cows and deer from the front porch! We loved it!

Cons: The sofa wasn’t cumfy, the downstairs bed was a bit small for two people and we couldn’t figure out how to work the stove top.

Absolutely peaceful and relaxing! Can't wait to do it again!

Pros: Beautiful Rustic cabin! We stayed from 8/7 to 8/11 for vacation. It's a few blocks from the main road and still feels secluded. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. If you looking for unique accommodations while staying in Fredericksburg this is one to stay at! If you're an early riser you can watch deer walk around on the property. When we return I will definitely inquire about reservations again. The price for the week and awesome communication with the owner is a win for me. Thanks for letting us stay at Das Eck Haus!
