Fair enough
Pros: Well, it's a good hotel, there's a nice architecture, pool and gym. The suite is spacious and there's a desk which is good to put my laptop to work. There's a restaurant in the lobby where you can buy some foods and drinks.
Cons: The bed and pillow aren't comfortable. Would be good have water in the room.

Definitely shortlist this one.
Pros: Nice modern comfortable clean hotel. Excellent gym. Good sized room with decent lighting. Didn't use the restaurant so can't comment. Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby..
Cons: Parking in the multi storey garage is $20. Location is well outside Austin city centre so your driving to get there or taking an Uber, however the room cost here is lower so it does even out. Traffic can be heavy at times given it is close to major road junctions.

Great location and renovations
Pros: Very central location for going downtown or north. It's very easy to access the highways. Love the recent renovations/updates, which are very comfortable and contemporary. Decent food options in the area, as well as Target/grocery stores. Self parking was super easy - go to level 1 (not lobby/ground), and the parking elevator will take you to your floor. Our room had two doors, one from the interior hallway and one from the exterior courtyard walk (see photo) - it was helpful to have both.
Cons: On the renovation flip side, parts of it were slightly noisier (in the courtyard and above us on 6?), but the front desk staff let us know in advance and told us to contact them if it was an issue. The pool wasn't heated/felt cold (late March) and the spa/hot tub was a bit warmer, but not hot. There weren't any towels by the pool 2 out of 3 times we visited. The restaurant was lacking staff in the mornings during the busy period. Tables weren't cleared and it took a long time to get seated (we gave up and went elsewhere once day).

Enjoyable and relaxing.
Pros: The breakfast was great, dinner was great. As we chose to stay and dine at the hotel, the prices were reasonable. The waiter and bartender friendly and accommodating. We came from Fort Worth to visit family and arrived the day before. My sister and I enjoyed the quiet, \
Cons: Parking charges. Wasn't aware there were going to be any. Added to the room charges it seemed high for one night. Where would one park if they chose not to park in your garage?

Wonderful experience and I will be back!
Pros: The property is absolutely beautiful. I love the design of the building and really enjoyed having a room where when I stepped out of the room I was outside with a beautiful view. After I finished working, I enjoyed getting some food and reading a book out by the fireplaces/outdoor couches. I loved being able to purchase a Starbucks coffee in the morning.
Cons: I wish there were casual breakfast options sold with the Starbucks coffee. I would have purchased a pastry and fruit or something like that. I did not have time for a site down breakfast I wanted something grab and go.

Pros: Friendliness of the hotel staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Accessibility/closeness of stores and restaurants. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree and will definitely return.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike about the place.
