Pros: Very comfortable bed and bedding, good sized room. Nice property.

Cons: I can hear the room next to me not much noise isolation. The room took a long time to get warm on a cold night.

Great place to stay and explore the area

Pros: Comfortable beds, great location, nice pool, historic buildings and helpful staff

Cons: It was a lovely place to stay but the shower head could do with de-limescaling. As it’s an old converted property the sound between the rooms can reverberate.

Pros: The pool area is so beautiful and peaceful. Beautiful old buildings. Very quiet area. Friendly staff. Value for money is extremely good! Would definitely recommend this place

Cons: received check in instructions via text message, which didn’t work for me because of my phone with a foreign number (not their fault). Maybe would have preferred to get it via email as well. But not a big thing :)

Pros: Did not have breakfast. Very much miss the buffet breakfast we had there in times past.

Cons: Room and building could use a paint job. Also, patio was dirty.Had some items in the room that needed to be fixed. We reported them and they sent a maintenance man over. He took care of all of the items and was very polite and helpful. You better keep him-- he's a good employee.

Pros: Perfectly clean and very comfortable room. Place with a touch of Texan history; you can literally feel how it was to arrive as a pioneer. Wonderful!
