Romantic 1BR Suite on Main Street - Prime location

Great location.

Pros: One can see from the photos that this room is decorated with a lot of character. It was quite fun and made us feel that we were indeed on holiday in Texas. I believe that it is most suited for couples; I was travelling with my adult daughter, so the bed could have been bigger. It is so centrally located but sits a floor up, and is set back from the busy street. This meant that is was very quiet. And the room was well equipped with proper mugs for our morning tea.

Cons: I asked several times for information on parking, but was not answered. I understand not giving the entrance code to the room until the day of arrival but was confused why information on the parking was withheld. My daughter had just finished a work trip and we had to leave several bags in the car so I was worried about safety and whether the parking was secure. As it turns out, the parking spot was at the back in what felt an isolated area. We chose to leave the car on the main street, getting a space directly in front of the store (over which the room is located). And after leaving, we were sent a message giving us 'guidance' for our review.

Pros: This room is like stepping back in time. It is a perfect couple's getaway placed right in the middle of Fredericksburg. Once we parked our car, we didn't need it again until it was time to leave for home. We spent the weekend walking all over town. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cons: The only thing that wasn't perfect about this place was the mattress. We both found it kind of uncomfortable.

Beautiful room with a wonderful HUGE tub. Walkable to many restaurants/brews/shopping.

Pros: The location was wonderful! Very central to all the happenings on Main St. The bathtub was our favorite feature!!! The bed was comfortable.

Cons: Due to the aesthetic, some of the furniture was a little sad. I get wanting it to look period, but some of it just looked shabby for the price point of this room. BUT, we still loved the stay. Also, we had a fuse trip while we were there as it is a very old building....HOWEVER, the mgt was quick to reply and our lights in the bathroom were restored w/in half an hour.

Pros: Everything great except bed was uncomfortable and didn’t get cool at night

Cons: Location, beautiful bath tub, very well decorated

We had a wonderful time. Could not have stayed in a better location. Also, very private

Pros: We loved how well put together the room was. Perfect location right on the strip. Wonderful tub! Very cozy!

Cons: A larger tv would be nice and new coffee maker 👍🏻
