Pros: It was a treat to stay at this hotel. The facilities were lovely. The food at the restaurants was excellent. The rooms were wonderful. Staff were helpful. We were there for the 4th of July and the activities for children were great as were the swimming pools.

Cons: The day we arrived they had difficulty getting our rooms ready and by 6:30 PM we did not have a room. The staff was very helpful getting us in two rooms but not what we had requested but close, but then our luggage got lost/taken to the wrong room. It was not a good start to the stay and then we had to wait a long time to get into a restaurant for dinner and get the food. The management on many levels were very concerned and did take care of us though. Waiting to get food at the restaurants always took a long time.

Perfect sunny staycation near Austin

Pros: Super friendly and helpful staff everywhere we went. GOOD breakfast buffet. Lovely lounging spots, from pools to spas to chairs by the firepits at night. Just overjoyed with this staycation. Also, free self-parking is so appreciated since most hotels gouge you that way.

Cons: Country music in the shared areas is my only complaint.

Need a place to relax…Barton Creek fills the bill.

Pros: Everything at this property is well thought out. The breakfast buffet is outstanding as are the other eating options. Just sitting out on one of the decks is a treat.
