Candlewood Suites San Antonio Airport by IHG

Ideal location for my brief overnight stay.

Pros: The convenience of the hotel with the shuttle bus service to and from the airport.

Cons: I had no issues during my 9 hour stay.

Was a good stay, to get the airport shuttle call the hotel once you land and they send someone to pick you up!

Pros: I like how close it was to the airport! I didn’t use the facilities there but I’d say it’s worth the money especially since there’s no breakfast available (I don’t really care for breakfast anyways.)

Cons: Was there for a couple days so I can’t say what was bad! But I felt safe and secure!

Pros: The staff and that it was in the airport area. Ms. Gabby is the sweetest!!!!! I will definitely be going back.

Cons: Toilet was not clean or the hand rail! Just minor things.

Very comfortable

Pros: The kitchen is spacious and supplied with kitchenware. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The price was really good. Gabby at the front desk was very kind and took care of

Cons: At the first room we stayed in, there were many roaches, but Gabby at the front desk was very kind and took care of the issue and was able to change us to a better room with none at all.

Overall, a good value if you need to be by the airport.

Pros: The front desk staff was attentive and friendly. My room was comfortable and had a functional kitchenette. Overall very clean and comfortable.

Cons: The towels, though clean, looked a bit worn out.

Love it

Pros: It was so spacious and clean friendly staff my kids were comfortable it was like being home 🏡

Cons: Could use crib service and provide laundry bag

Nice hotel that was well kept and provided reasonable value. Nearby my event as well.

Pros: There was no breakfast. I had brought my own, however, but I did not have any milk. Their canteen area sold milk for a price that was acceptable since I didn't have to travel to get it. Overall I thought the hotel was nice, and it met or slightly exceeded my expectations.

Cons: Everything was to my liking.

When I go to San Antonio, Candlewood Suites is my place to stay.

Pros: I lived in San Antonio for almost a decade and related to West Texas for the money and job security. I go back to San Antonio every month (to get a break from West Texas) and I always stay at the Candlewood Suites location near the airport. I like the location, the ease of parking/check-in, the room set up and the staff.

Cons: N/A

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the airport and comes with free shuttle to and from the airport. Laundry machines are free to guests!! Super awesome.

Pros: I like all the amenities that are available. Very comfortable beds.

Cons: We could have used another set of towels.
