Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Brooks City Base

A very satisfactory stay for our purposes

Pros: Booking.com had not passed on my wife's requirement for a gluten free breakfast but the staff took the trouble to buy gluten free breakfast food and brought it to our room. All the staff were extremely helpful. The desk staff was also able to direct us to restaurants with gluten free offerings that were still open after 10 p.m. The room had lots of space and was well equipped. The hotel was close to the highway network that we needed to travel to where we were going to see the 2024 total solar eclipse and to the Natural Bridge Caves.

Cons: Although the staff were very helpful their knowledge of the local bus routes was not good. We were directed to one route that only had an hourly service and took nearly an hour to get into the centre of the city. Only after two days of such journeys did we find that there was another route with stops just as close that went nearly twice as often with a 20 minute shorter journey time. However, to be fair, we have found similar issues at other hotels too, i.e. that the staff's local knowledge can be limited.

Pros: Friendly staff, large clean room, great breakfast, convenient location

Cons: No compaints

Quick Weekend Get Away

Pros: Always love Hampton locations, price and value. The places are always clean, rooms are comfortable and are a great value.

Cons: N/A

Great experience!

Pros: We come to SA several times per year to visit family and this has been our favorite hotel so far. Room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Breakfast was great, took some as snacks for the day. We liked the location, not too loud at night

Cons: Had to request towels as there weren’t any left in the room, but concierge was very helpful.

Pros: So comfy and clean love the staff they're accommodating. Can't wait to come back.

It was up to par.

Pros: Everything was great. The air conditioning was not working in the first room I was given, but the front desk personnel immediately assigned me to another room (the only thing, it was smaller than my initial room).

Cons: The air conditioning was not working in the first room I was given, but the front desk personnel immediately assigned me to another room (the only thing, it was smaller than my initial room).

I will continue to stay because of the cleanliness of the rooms.

Pros: The location of the property was a huge convenience for us, everything was clean and room was ready when we arrived.

Cons: We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and it never seems to fail that the kitchen staff is very rude and cold with the customers. They almost never want to assist and are rude when asked a question.

Cons: - Zimmerservice nur auf Nachfrage
