Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Antonio Downtown/Market Square

Great location not too far from the Riverwalk and The Alamo. Perfect for our needs.

Pros: Great location. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Shuttle bus was very welcome on our final evening. Breakfast was good and adequate for our needs.

Cons: Was unable to get a table sometimes at breakfast time as always very busy and there was not enough seating.

My birthday weekend was wonderful the stay was fantastic

Pros: love the location within walking distance of all the attraction that we made plan to visit. the weather was wonderful and I had a wonderful birthday weekend, the breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean so thumps up for that.

Cons: We really didn't have any problems with the room, the construction was bearable , but other than that everything was nice. The staff when we checked in was vey friendly due to arriving later that expected , they recommended dinner.

San Antonio stay for a symposium

Pros: The room is very clean and the place is near to the centre

Cons: The breakfast room can be improved

Clean, friendly helpful staff, quiet, breakfast, parking, walkable to downtown!

Pros: We stayed here for a night and really liked it. The hotel is located downtown and it’s super easy to get downtown in just a few minutes by walking. Our room was great — very clean and surprisingly big. Even though it’s close to downtown, it was actually really quiet. We slept well and felt totally comfortable and safe the whole time. All in all, a really solid place to stay — we’d definitely come back.

Cozy

Pros: Room was nice and spacious. Enough varieties at breakfast. Guest laundry. Free parking. Friendly staff. Free shuttle to downtown.

Cons: There was a damp smell in the bathroom.

Ideal few night stay, very convenient with lovely staff

Pros: The location was good, close to downtown but quiet which was nice. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful and the room was well equipped, including a microwave. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. Free shuttle bus service is great.

Cons: The bathroom didn't feel very clean, especially the floor, and the room was overall a little bit dated. The air conditioning also smelt a bit funky at times.

Pros: Great service - thanks Isaac at reception 👏 Rooms large and clean. Free shuttle from hotel to river walk and Alamo. Breakfast great. Free parking.

Cons: All good

Complimentary shuttle bus was an excellent service.

Pros: The complimentary shuttle bus into the Riverwalk was an excellent service. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. Free parking and really friendly staff.

Cons: The laundry had to be sent out at a cost. It wasn't available on site. This wouldn't stop us from returning to the hotel! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great short break

Pros: Great location with free parking, and fantastic complimentary shuttle service to and from river walk. Staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast included too.

Cons: Room was a little dated and could do with updating but this didn’t affect our stay.

Great hotel in Downtown San Antonio

Pros: Excellent location about 15 min walk to the River Walk. Room was clean and comfortable and the facilities (including gym and pool) were very good. Great choice for breakfast, with unlimited coffee and water throughout the day. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. On one evening they organised a games night with the sister hotel, which included free beer, wine and soft drinks. Highly recommended and would stay again.
