The perfect place to stay

Pros: The most amazing place to stay. So relaxing!! Sitting on the porch watching the deer was the highlight of our stay. The food to feed them was such an amazing touch!! Never have we fed deer by hand before. Something we will never forget. Thank you so much

We a had wonderful time. The cabins are fantastic!

Pros: The location was beautiful however, we were booked in a room that was not fully prepared for our stay. The bedroom blinds was broken with the supporting blind string tied to accommodate the support of the blinds. We were unable to fix the blinds to block the view from others seeing inside our room. We called the service desk and complained about the issues as is was not acceptable to have a nonfunctional blind in the room which we would be sleeping. The service desk specialist was very understanding and informed us that they will look into the issue. The service desk specialist called us back informing us that they have arranged for us to stay in another room, to our surprise it was the grand loge room with lots of room and space and a hot tube. We enjoyed our stay in the grand loge cabin and we're looking forwaed to coming back to Canyon Lakeview soon. Thank you to the service desk specialist for her assistance and understanding, she was very helpful and pleasant.

Cons: As stated above, the regular rooms were not equipped with out dated blinds. The old blinds needs replacing. Also, in the regular rooms aren't very sound proof. You can hear others in the other room over as they had kids. However, since we were transferred to the grand loge cabin, we had no noise, and the cabin was very pleasant. Additionally, the upstairs bathroom toilet need to be fixed as it did not flushed during our stay. Otherwise, a wonderful cabin for a weekend stay.

Pros: Everything. Adventure at every turn on the property, and inside, we had a comfy clean place to hang out.

Cons: Weekend prices are pretty steep. I couldn't afford to stay more than one night at regular price. The weekend was out of the question.

Pros: Wish the pool was open. The time of season is not here but wish you had a jacuzzi though. Great stay tho. Love the set up in room.

Cons: No jacuzzi

We enjoyed and had fun. Planning longer trip during better season to explore outside activities.

Pros: Property location. How quickly my request was answered on the email and was offered what I asked for. Cleanliness. Basically everything was excellent. Definitely coming back.

Cons: All was good

Definitely worth the money if you understand the bathroom and shower situation.

Pros: Great location! Lots of wildlife to watch. The location has beautiful views of the lake, a volleyball court and a gorgeous pool. It is a very very clean facility and cabins.

Cons: Just so you know… this is very nice glamping! The cabins are beautiful and well appointed. It has a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, two comfortable chairs, a chest of drawers and a table. But what it doesn’t have is a restroom or running water in the cabin. Those amenities are found in a very clean and separate bathroom and a separate Shower house. Our only complaint was the two times we have stayed there there has been no hot water in the shower facilities either time. Being January It was a very cold shower.

Great affordable place to “glamp” that would be even better in Spring and Summer

Pros: Location was perfect. This would be a fun place to visit in warmer months—- pool ,fire pit and volleyball ball court we just outside our door. We also loved the front porch of our little cabin!

Cons: It was the low season. We went to take a shower and found there was no hot water in the bathhouse. Apparently the staff was unaware of the problem too. It did not get fixed while we were there so no showers for us.

Pros: I loved how spacious the lodge was and they had all the needed cooking supplies I really needed that. I really liked how the deer came up to us at night and early morning to eat and they supplied us with a small feed bag for the deer.

Cons: I didnt like the access to the Lake was at a very much hike distance and I ended up straining my ankled from the steep rocks to climb

Overall we enjoyed our stay.the central air did not work and it had a window unit

Pros: The room was quaint and very nice. The deer come out at night.

Cons: The pool was not open and the lake was very low

Pros: it was very pretty! we had the lake view and it was very nice to feel like you were in the woods. unfortunately, it was raining the whole time we were there so we couldn’t enjoy the lake too much. they were very nice about everything. it was easy communication. we will be staying here again!
