Austin Proper Hotel

Perfect!! Would stay Proper everywhere:)

Pros: One of the best I’ve stayed at! Brilliant staff, facilities and amenities! Cycles on site + great gym!!

Pros: Everything! Wonderful experience. We had to check in very late check in as our flight was delayed and the check in staff were incredible. In fact, all of the staff members were warm, friendly, helpful and so hospitable. Facilities were amazing, location is perfect. 10/10 recommend

Pros: Having stayed at Proper Santa Monica I definitely wanted to book this hotel. It was just as good as the Proper hotel in Santa Monica. Wonderful reception, nice drinking and dining options, fantastic food and drink, and wonderful ambience. The gym is among the best hotel gyms I have ever been to. And I'm picky about gyms!

Cons: Nothing. This is a great hotel

Pros: The hotel was amazing. The staff were incredibly kind , they gave me an yo grade upon arrival. The bed is heaven and every design detail is perfect.

Downtown modern hotel with attentive staff. Super location.

Pros: Modern hotel in great downtown location. Lovey choice of bars and restaurants onsite. My wife used the Verbena Spa and exclaimed it was one of the bet treatments she had ever had. Lovely touch receiving a bottle of prosecco delivered to the room on arrival. The Quill Room was a lovely bar - good for some lite bites and drinks. Roof top pool and swim up bar was a nice sun trap - staff were very attentive and made sure we were well looked after.

Cons: The ground floor bar and restaurant areas were very very busy at nights - uncomfortably so as a hotel resident making it less inviting space to spend any time in.

This was one of the best places we have stayed , could not recommend it more highly. Fantastic

A proper hotel for those who want to experience hotels at its best

Pros: This hotel is everting you would expect and more from the Design Hotel Group. It's ineriors are exquisitely decorated with every attention given to detail. To compliment the interiors were the exceptional service of the staff. They where attentive, friendly and always helpful. Even our kids agreed that this was the best hotel they have ever been to. The facilities where excellent and we may just have had the best Margaritas we've ever tasted at the pool bar! In the evenings the lobby lounge turned into a vibrant hang out for guest and locals, which we loved. Even though we did not join in every night, it was wonderful to come back after a day of shopping or sightseeing to experience a lively atmosphere that was welcoming. Will we go back? Most definitely! It is after all, a proper hotel.

A gem in the heart of Austin

Pros: From the moment you are greeted at the door by the most hospitable valet staff and hotel managers - you feel at home. This hotel is a beautiful walk into the heart of Austin and we absolutely loved the quality of our rooms and the whole hotel.

Beautiful hotel and great if you are looking for a trendy place

Pros: Amazing hotel, very beautiful spaces, great staff, restaurants are delicious, the gym is amazing!

Cons: The room are pretty small for the price and the restaurants are overpriced as well... 18 dollars for a green juice is too much
