Stylish Stay in a Perfect Location with Great Food & Margaritas at Hotel Magdalena

Pros: I loved the location of Hotel Magdalena — it’s perfectly situated and makes getting around Austin super easy. The decoration is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with a very cool, relaxed vibe that really fits the city. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The on-site restaurant was also excellent — the food was delicious and the margaritas were especially good!

Cons: We did have a small issue with our first room, as there were a few hairs in the bed. However, the staff handled it very well and kindly moved us to another room right away, which we really appreciated.

Would stay again but not as amazing as it could be

Pros: Fantastic location, just off South Congress. Good quality food and drinks from the bar/restaurant

Cons: Considering the quality of the hotel, the towels should be much better for this price. We didn't have our room serviced for five of the six days we stayed there There was very little storage space and we had to live out of our suitcases

Pros: Amazing customer service great location, good energy, simple 70s inspired and modern design

Cons: The parking. Street parking you have to pay parking lot. You have to pay parking garage to pay and the valet you have to pay and it’s all expensive.

We will be back!!

Pros: The grounds of the property are gorgeous! The Le Labo is a really nice surprise. The rooms are decorated beautifully and we love the old school phone. And you can’t beat the location. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

Cons: The AC seemed to turn off at night and the room got a little warm. Also, the water took a really long time to heat up.

Great place to stay in Austin

Pros: Beautiful property with lots of lovely outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. Right off Congress Street so all the shops are in easy access. Rooms are decorated in interesting ways. I loved the Le Labo bathroom products!

Cons: The bathroom is small.

Pros: This property is absolutely beautiful! I loved the lobby, courtyard, and the unique rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the le labo toiletries were a lovely addition, and the location is amazing. The restaurant on site was also lovely, breakfast was delicious.

Cons: There was a loud fan noise periodically when running the AC, I'm not sure if it was unique to our room but it was disruptive at times.
