The Frances Modern Inn

Pros: Beautifully designed and every little detail thought through. We loved staying here and will definitely be back when we're next in Austin. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Amazing location and great hospitality in Austin

Pros: We had an amazing stay at The Frances, it was everything we hoped for and more - the room was a great size, bed was super comfy, and the amenities in the lounges were amazing. Location is perfect and easily walkable to East 6th, with some of my favourite Austin spots literally on the doorstep.

Cons: Honestly nothing - one time the self-check in gate didn't work on us but we were able to resolve the issue via Whatsapp pretty quickly!

Pros: The most comfortable bedding I have ever encountered.

Will be the first choice when back in Austin

Pros: Beautiful and unique property with cozy atmosphere and great amenities. The location was great for our stay. Within walking distance to everything we needed (coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shops)

Cons: The only thing I wasn’t fond of was that you could easily hear between the rooms as well as traffic from outside. We felt like we had to talk very low so people next door couldn’t hear our conversation.

Great place to stay in Austin !

Pros: Surpassed expectations in terms of location, and quality of the hotel overall. Loved their coffee machine.

Cons: Nothing really. If I had to pick would say very few parking spaces.

Pros: Super clean, nice good quality bedding. Our room was very cozy. Validated parking in a nearby lot was appreciated.

Cons: We could not get a good sleep as the adjacent room was being cleaned early in the morning - doors kept being slammed which woke us up. A member of staff entered our room before the check-out time, while we were still there - we found it unpleasant.

Great unique hotel with easy location to visit Austin downtown

Pros: It’s located right in the cool East side of Austin Staff were great in communication and prepared my request perfectly for my boyfriend’s birthday. He was very pleased.

Cons: Nothing, but we couldn’t use the communal area due to our schedule.

Great ambiance, great location, comfortabe.

Pros: Interesting fun decor, clean, quiet, comp water and coffee.

Cons: Parking is tight. Instructions provided/needed for the modern shower controls.....annoying to have to deal with that at 6 am.
