Colton House Hotel

Pros: Front of staff were super friendly and helpful, room was lovely and spacious - great hotel location!

Pros: It is really funky, cool little gem. Decor is stunning and staff are friendly and professional. Very clean

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Lovely

Pros: The hotel was really nice couldn’t really fault it the shower gel was amazing. Ethan was amazing made my stay so much better

Cons: They need a bell boy or someone designated to help with luggage. Bathrobe and slippers is something I would expect from a hotel of this standard

Stylish hotel with great facilities.

Pros: Loved this hotel, far exceeded expectations. Friendly staff, gorgeous pool. 100% recommend.

GREAT ROOMS NOT POOL AREA

Pros: Huge room well contained Great fridge and kitchenette area

Cons: Pool area a lot smaller than photos on line and pool not working Long skinny hotel Charge for parking

We had a great time and would definitely return.

Pros: The room was amazing- large, well kitted out with everything you could possibly need for your stay and very clean. The reception staff were delightful, accommodating and went out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Good location, easy to walk into the main SoCo strip, supermarket within a few mins walk and several restaurants within 10 mins walk.

Cons: The cafe/ coffee shop area is pretty and pleasant to Spend time in, especially the outdoor area but the food options are very limited. The menu options are few, and food, served from a truck, stops being served at 5pm. It’s breakfast options and tacos, with the odd pastry option which sells out by 10.30am usually. Staff are not always so helpful in the bar/ restaurant. The cafe areas are hugely busy and it seems full of remote workers who are not always a resident but choose to work in the prettty public areas. This wasn’t a huge issue for us but it’s worth mentioning.

Really good. Highly recommended.

Pros: This is where “The Intelligence Community” hang out. Young sophisticated Apple macs in hand. Go outside Simona’s at night: cool lights under the oak trees. Soft cool music in the background. Much to like about this hotel. Food truck excellent, even for breakfast.

Cons: Ubers into town required

Had an amazing stay with friendly staff and chilled vibes. I will definitely be staying again.

Pros: The atmosphere was amazing and the outdoor pool area so relaxing. Not to mention the spacious modern comfortable rooms.

A real gem and would be very happy to return

Pros: Loved the onsite cafe and pool the most. Plus, there were so many different areas in the hotel to lounge, work, etc. so I'd say it's perfect for those staying for work. The staff at Simona's were exceptional, super friendly. Coffee, wine and food was great every time. They come to check in on you while you are by the pool and deliver drinks straight to you which I genuinely wasn't expecting and thought was a great touch. Rooms were great, too, bed was super comfortable and the shower was really nice.

Cons: I'd say the immediate surrounding area is the only downside. It's probably a c.10 min walk to any nice restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. and I'd expect most people would want to get a taxi or drive to go anywhere even locally as it's not a very nice walk.

Pros: Staff were excellent, super friendly and accommodating. Particularly liked having Simona's on site and the taco truck, meant you were never far from a great coffee, glass of wine, snacks, etc. Beds were also super comfy and the pool area was great.

Cons: It's a little out of the way so expect to drive / Uber if you want to head out for a drink or to a restaurant.
