Fairfield by Marriott San Antonio Alamo Plaza Convention Center

Good value for money

Pros: Decent gym, small but healthy breakfast, friendly staff, quiet location but within walking distance of many restaurants

Cons: Business center PC does not have Word or Excel app

Great location and room

Pros: Breakfast was great, good selection and helpful staff

Pleasant helpful staff

Pros: The staff were so helpful both in the evening and morning. We were having trouble with pinpointing our collection point for an Uber. We appreciated the ladies on the desk guiding us through the booking.

Cons: No negatives

Pros: Room, service breakfast and amenities were really nice, nothing to complain!

Pros: Great bartender Great location Basic but good breakfast (almost no bacon though)

Cons: Booked a room with kingsize bed, got 2 queensized beds instead. Appearantly the hotel decides what room you are in and it doesn't look at what you booked on Booking.

Excellent

Pros: The only thing wrong with our stay was that the Hotel was close to a night club and me being older found it a bit noisy when it was time to sleep.

Would definitely recommend this accommodation, this should get 5 stars

Pros: Everything, after travelling through USA & staying at some very expensive hotels, this was the best accommodation by far

Cons: Everything was excellent, all the staff were lovely & polite, laundry on 3rd floor, excellent free breakfast, huge room

Comfortable and a good choice for us

Pros: The breakfast choices were so good - very nice compared to other places I stayed

Cons: I guess I was taken aback that the only parking available was valet - but it was handled well

Fun

Pros: Very sweet, friendly, smiling Veronica I think was her name and the parking staff was great. Breakfast lady she was nice too You want to feel welcome and they sure did that Thank you 😊

Cons: I think bathrooms can be cleaned a little better When I washed my hands the sinks looked like it was so ready for a good clean with dawn soap Dawn soap does the job That’s about the only thing I didn’t like not too clean in the bathrooms

Awesome

Pros: Located very close to the convention centre, the hotel provides awesome ease of travel. All attractions are close by including Alamo and city center and riverwalk.
