Wonderful Quirky Fun Hotel room in Austin / student ville!

Pros: Hotel Reception Staff were FANTASTIC. Especially Brandon. The room was stylish, very spacious with beautiful decorations. I love the black out blinds and the double beds. Shower was great!! cute that the toilet was in a little room with a closed door. Fun quirky wallpaper design in the lift. Room was quiet enough. Good mirrors!

Cons: The sink and washbasin not well designed so water went everywhere. Could have had better hand towels / storage/railing to prevent water going everywhere. Could have had another blanket available to sleep in. And also - the lighting is difficult to reach to switch on in the middle of the night? Not much space to hang your clothes :-(

Perfect hotel

Pros: The hotel is located close to where we needed to be. It’s colourful and tastefully decorated with fresh modern vibe. The rooms are very comfortable

Pros: Quirky. Relaxed. Comfortable room with all mod cons. Great welcome including welcome drink.

Cons: Mix up with final bill but sorted. Could have done with a fridge in room.

A nice hotel but lacking in some amenities, a little too far out without a car

Pros: It was comfortable enough, the staff were helpful and the common areas were fun.

Cons: It’s a little too far out for a trip where you want to sightsee, especially when it’s really hot and without a car. The room was mostly clean but there was a random hair in the shower. There wasn’t really much space to put your clothes and another bin and a fridge would be nice.

Great hotel, would recommend and stay again

Pros: Room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the bar was lively with a more chilled outdoor area with social games. Location had lots of places to eat, drink and shop within walking distance although a bit further to get to downtown Austin.

Cons: Only issue was some nights there was noise from local bars but didn’t disturb me enough to bother too much.

Pros: Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Not what I expected at first but it exceeded my expectations!

Pros: Bus station just in front of the hotel, fantastic cleaning services, comfortable bed, plenty of good restaurants nearby, they have nearly everything. I am a new international student at UT and I was quite nervous during my first few days in the U.S. But the workers of Moxy were super kind and helpful, highly recommend anyone who shares a similar position with me to choose here as your first station.

Cons: My room had no desk, making it inconvenient for me to use my laptop. Since they always have to play music in the lobby(there's a bar), I had to leave the hotel to find a place to work every day.

Absolutely loved the Moxy!

Pros: The Moxy was the perfect location to visit my son at UT. It was very comfortable and the staff were helpful and super friendly. Lots of space downstairs to work and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and right across the street from campus. You have to pay for parking but the Moxy rates are less than many other hotels in the area so even with the parking it was more affordable.

Cons: Nothing loved it

Pros: De locatie is perfect. Very close to university and walking part of town. Rooms are comfy and quiet. Downstairs area with bar is fun to go to. They even have an outdoor area to have a drink.

Cons: I think the showers are designed poorly. No place to hang anything for instance .

I really enjoyed my stay and I was there for 2 weeks.

Pros: The vicinity to UT and local shops. It’s an inviting hotel with the bar as check in and really warm service from everyone who works there. The room was cute, clean and modern with great housekeeping every second day. No issues at all. I highly recommend the Moxy.

Cons: As a minimalistic hotel there is no laundry facility but there are 2 close by, or they can have your laundry sent out. No tea and coffee in room but free access in the morning at the check in area.
