Smart hotel with fab pool. A bit noisy but would stay here again if in Austin

Pros: Perfect location for UT. Liked the room and facilities even though unusual layout with bathroom as you enter but this wasn’t an issue for us. Could have done with more drawer space and towels were not great. Record player cool touch but as others have said May be more useful to have a fridge. Pool was fab and spent many hours poolside and at the rooftop bar. Biggest issue we had was with noise. Some to be expected from road but on one night there was music blaring until 4am. Desk claimed to be unaware. Would request a room away from the front entrance if I stayed again as could hear the music played into the street. Overall a great - if pricey - stay.

A wonderful hotel that we plan on returning to when we are next in Austin

Pros: The hotel has such a great vibe. It is so well situated and the staff are so friendly. It was such a great base for our college tour and exploring the city. Plenty of food options nearby and we felt safe walking around.

Cons: As much as we thought the vinyl record player was a fun touch, we missed having a fridge in our room. Also, the sheet on one of the beds had a few stains at the bottom corner which was a little disturbing.

Clean comfortable friendly motel

Pros: Great breakfast , our server was efficient and friendly. Great motel, very friendly staff. Enjoyed the rooftop bar

Pros: The room was beautiful and record player a lovely touch.

Cons: The staff were tricky, everything seemed an effort. Even asking for late checkout was an issue. Generally it was expensive

Great location and hotel for all purposes

Pros: Excellent hotel in a really good location in the University area. The rooftop pool area is exceptional and the restaurant Acre 41 was delightful. Great spacious room which was immaculate throughout our stay. The vinyl record player and record was really good as was the huge room TV.

Cons: The only grumble was the room would have benefitted from a fridge to keep drinks cool. This was only minor.
