Great base for seeing the sights of Austin

Pros: Location was great , sitting on the veranda having a drink was fantastic One of the best burgers ever had 👍👍

Cons: WiFi was spotty and sporadic Lack of room safe especially as overseas visitors (although I understand some are on order) Someone had left a finished tray of food by the lifts and it stayed there the duration of our stay But that aside, would recommend the hotel and staff were lovely, professional and helpful throughout

Historic charm in the heart of Austin

Pros: Over the historic set up and the aesthetic of the place - so quaint and well located Loved coffee in lobby and barman was cool

Cons: Only Moab was lift broke so we had to carry all our luggage down three flights of straits on last day otherwise couldn’t fault it

Beautiful building, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.

Pros: Daniel was super friendly on the front desk and very helpful. Loved the fire pit and the pool area. Room was very comfortable, building is beautiful and location is excellent.

Cons: Pool was cold water which is not for everyone but I am sure it works in Austin summers. The valet parking is expensive.

Pros: the hotel and staff were fantastic, the hotel had a gas leak so there was no hot water and the restaurant couldn't open. when we checked out the nxt morning, the manager had waived any charges incurred at the hotel, ie our parking and breakfast. we thought this was so nice and kind of him. we would stay here again.

Cons: the location wasn't bad but was a bit of a way out, we were at the end of a 2 week holiday and just wanted to stay local, as the restaurant was closed at the hotel, we were limited for what to eat. apart from that, loved it.

Historic hotel

Pros: Historic building, very friendly staff, close to UT.

Cons: Unfortunately, the breakfast service was problematic. Wifi was a little erratic in my angle of the Hotel.

Magical!!

Pros: This was a trip for my daughters 14th birthday. My mom, both daughters, and I spent a few days here. She picked this hotel due to the history, which she told us about at least 5 times throughout our stay. I was highly impressed with the staff, the best in the industry no doubt. They couldn't have made it any more special. My kids and I have had an insanely rough year, this was exactly what we needed at precisely the right time. I seriously will never forget the time we spent here and I know she wont either. I seriously can't say thank you enough to Hotel Ella and her glorious staff.

We enjoyed Hotel Ella and intend to visit again, often!

Pros: I was pleased with the accommodations as well as the amenities despite not getting to use them all. I also like the fact that after a rocky start to our stay the hotel staff was able to rebound and go above and beyond to help make our stay memorable.

Cons: It was a surprise for our anniversary to my wife but the room was canceled before we arrived unbeknownst to me and we had to stay elsewhere our first night. The inconvenience of having to locate another room at 11 p.m. was a bad start to a great weekend.

We spent almost three weeks in a famous hotel, a hotel with a history and a soul - and we are happy to have met such a team. Well-coordinated work, on time, any question - absolutely, without exception, all the guys of the hotel are a pearl! Children remember and always want to come to visit! Pros: The staff at the front desk was absolutely marvelous. They went above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated. The valet attend was also very attentive. We eat at the restaurant and appreciated the recommendations the waitress provided. This made our stay very relaxing.
