Great

Pros: I like how welcoming and friendly the staff are, especially Marion who is delightful. The room was clean, spacious and truely comfortable with terrific housekeeping daily. The location is convenient to key places of interest. I loved the Texas Capitol and Blanton gallery. The Clay Pit restaurant is close by.

Cons: Nothing.

Excellent hotel.

Pros: Second visit to the hotel after travelling from San Antonio. Hotel is excellent. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Excellent hotel bar. Excellent location for exploring the city. Good to have a late check-out for $35 extra.

Cons: On checking out valet parking had been added to the bill. As I did not have a car I queried this. The sum was recredited to my card after the receptionist told the back office finance person. The issue could have been easily sorted if the finance person had explained in person rather than leaving it to the receptionist who was confused like me by a rather disorganised invoice.

Excellent location and facilities.

Pros: Excellent room, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellent hotel bar with several real ales on draft. A rare treat if you enjoy a variety of ales. Good bar food with TexMex theme. Rooftop open air lounge well worth a visit for city views.

Cons: Nothing untoward.

Pros: Clean, great roof garden and my room has a great view to the Capitol.

Eclipse viewing from the patio

Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable and the view of the capital building was lovely. Watched the eclipse from the roof top patio and that was awsome!

Cons: The inflated price for the eclipe was a bit over the top

Excellent staff, amazing location

Pros: The staff were exceptional in their customer services, very friendly and reassuring when issues arose. Especially Forrest at the bar who was very friendly and approachable. The rooftop was also stunning to sit on and watch the world go by

Cons: Bed was a bit too firm for me.

It was okay, but I feel it could be better.

Pros: Easy check in/out and location close to Moody Center.

Cons: I didn’t like that I had to pay for parking, kinda expensive for one night stay, bed was very firm.
