Amazing hotel - be aware of weekend noise

Pros: Outstanding hotel - corner room with view was stunningly beautiful. Staff absolutely brilliant. Great facilities. Excellent location

Cons: It’s extremely loud on weekend evenings due to the rooftop bar upstairs. This lasts until very early in the morning. However there is a white noise Machine in the room that works super well and blocks it out.

convenient stay attending conference

Pros: Location was convenient to attend a conference in the same hotel. Room was spacious and clean.

Cons: premisses are often crowded by the atendees of several conferences at the same time, and it may be not easy to have a table for breakfast .

Lovely hotel in great location

Pros: excellent location, excellent reception staff with lovely clean, modern room

Cons: Rooftop bar was not being run well by host with many tables not being cleared, and the host spent more time with fawning member of staff than dealing with guests, we stood for ages at the entrance with staff walking past us and n one asked if we wanted anything, we were just ignored. This guys attitude did not reflect the rest of the staff in the hotel Breakfast is in the downstairs restaurant but is not like the normal hotel buffet breakfast, also when Booking.com offer you breakfast at additional cost it is not explained that this is a voucher for 25USD pp so not fully inclusive as presented, this is probably more to do with Booking.com rather than teh hotel

Pros: The room is very nice, and the view from the corner room was absolutely gorgeus. It is very nice to wake up and see the city from above.

Cons: The hotel allows to make a reservation with breakfast included, but the only thing they provide you, is a 25$ voucher to use in their restaurant, which is not enough to cover a basic meal.

Very well located overpriced Marriott in the heart of Austin. Earns its 3 stars.

Pros: Staff very attentive. Nice view from the rooms. Bed comfortable (but honestly the pillows were awful).

Cons: Interesting room design. Anyone opening the door can see whoever is in the shower. Glass sliding door to the toilet was off the track and very difficult to slide closed (and open). Sliding door from opening into bedroom. What were you thinking? Who is the rocket scientist who came up with that? The sliding door could have been between the shower/toilet and the sink. There's a novel idea. Ice ONLY on the 7th floor? What else can you scrimp on? Pillows were dreadful. Some folks reported waiting for elevators for more than 15 minutes.

Great stay

Pros: We were lucky to get an early check in which I appreciated after an early morning flight. Had a great room with the city view. Room cleaning and breakfast which we decided to add after arriving were excellent. Location was great. Staff were nice and friendly.

Pros: Very courteous and attentive staff. Kyle in restaurant & bar was very good. The valet staff was exceptional.
