Strongly suggested if you look for something different from chain hotels, but still very comfortable

Pros: I have been to many hotels in the US and they tend to me nice, but cold and all the same. This one had a distinguished character, with some elements of Spanish architecture that made it pleasant to the eye. I very much liked the tasty fruits I found when I entered the room. All the personnel was very kind and smiling, though this is quite common in the US

Pros: Great location right in the river, modern rooms, great breakfast restaurant

Cons: Room slightly smaller than expecting

Pros: Beautiful hotel in the ideal location. Clean and relaxing rooms.

Cons: Valet parking is extremely expensive. A good service but overly expensive. The cost of this is advertised well at the hotel.

Great place to stay in San Antonio for all the vibe!

Pros: The location was just wonderful. Right on the River Walk central San Antonio. Just couldn't be better. Loved the decorations and style. The staff were just fantastic (and helping me with wifi!).

Cons: I thought the fountain for the pool needed to be fixed! It just seemed that some of the decorations were broken off. I hope that this will be fixed in the near term!

Pros: Great location on the river walk. Staff were attentive and friendly, providing great service. Bat staff remembered orders over the weekend; what we’d tried and what we’d liked. Room was comfortable (love the US big beds!!) everywhere was clean. Spent a lovely day at the pool making our way through the cocktail menu. Exactly what I’d hoped for when I booked it.

Lovely hotel on riverwalk

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff from arrival to departure. Location right on river walk with balcony looking over it. Pool looked lovely although we didn't have opportunity to use it. Nice room with comfortable bed

San Antonio at its best!

Pros: We chose La Mansión del Rio because it is situated right in the heart of town on the River Walk and it looked good on the booking website. Everything positive we read is thoroughly justified, and that includes the staff in particular. We will certainly book La Mansión del Rio again on a future occasion, and we recommend it to everybody visiting the fantastic town of San Antonio.

Cons: I can’t think of anything, and I am not that easy to please!
