Downtown San Antonio with confortable rooms and excellent cost-benefit

Pros: Holiday Inn Riverwalk is conveniently located in downtown San Antonio, right along the famous River Walk. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great bathrooms and walk-in showers. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Cons: The A/C could be a bit stronger.

Fantastic!

Pros: Didnt try the breakfast. Hotel was within a short walk to riverwalk etc.

Cons: The toilet had mold around the inside. A band aid came from somewhere while i was in the shower. It was not used and we didnt have any with us. Two of the 3 coffee packets were opened and the creamer was missing. Would have liked the room to have usb ports

Great location

Pros: Excellent location with ease to the Riverwalk. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and courteous.

Cons: Could hear people conversing out in the hallway and the wait staff during breakfast were not super attentive. We waited over 10 minutes before we finally got up and went to the front to pay our bill.

Very nice and on the Riverwalk

Pros: Went with the balcony view room and it was very nice. Bed was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and nice. It was a half block walk to the Riverwalk which was terrific. On site parking was nice as I didn’t have to use public parking. The downstairs bar had happy hour and we were able to purchase a full bottle of champagne for New Years there.

Cons: Breakfast was buffet style but not free it was $20 plus per person. So we didn’t eat there. We skipped breakfast but used the in room coffee until we could go to the Riverwalk for brunch. Parking there was $29 a day, expensive but convenient so really not a complaint. Maybe if you stay more than one night you get discounts on parking?
