Our stay was wonderful.

Pros: The breakfast was wonderful! The room was very clean & comfortable. The location was right for what we were there for.

Very Nice Hotel for a business stay.

Pros: We loved the free breakfast and the outdoor pool.

Cons: Hôtel was excellent and services. I just did not like the location. It was not nice for walking to river walk.

The hotel was very pleasant with friendly staff and free, secure parking.

Pros: The Holiday Inn was within walking distance of the River Walk district and Convention Center. Parking was free and in a safe enclosed lot. The room had a wonderful little kitchenette with microwave and mini fridge also.

Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel. It was perfect and the staff were wonderful. My only issue was the nearby railroad tracks on the walk to the convention center that cross Commerce Street at this location. I was stopped by the train four times walking to the convention center. In fact, on the morning of the Alamo Marathon, I was stopped by both a freight train and Amtrak train parked on the tracks stretching a mile in either direction. I discovered a tunnel under the tracks about a quarter mile away on Montana Street and made it to the start of the marathon with only a few minutes to spare.
